
The initiative, organized by Project Summit, took place at a hotel in the capital and focused on discussing issues of major significance for the country, including local content in the oil industry, sustainable development, public policy, innovation, and current economic challenges, according to JA Online.
According to Francisco Escrivão, director of Project Summit, the event aims to serve as a forum for technical exchange and a catalyst for the growth of a project management culture in Angola.
“We want to broaden understanding of the impact of project management across different sectors.”
“In this issue, we’ve brought together the oil, financial, and technology sectors to directly analyze how this discipline influences results,” he said.
The manager noted that, following this inaugural edition, the organization plans to expand the initiative with new training resources
“Our next step is to create a platform that provides greater access to knowledge in project management through case studies, specialized content, and training,” he noted.
